Not capable of pulling for Georgia Southern. I know that theoretically I should, to strengthen the conference. But eff that. I hate them too bad.

Good thing you didnt. Looks like that act of self hatred would have been in vain. Almost makes you feel bad for the Eagles. Almost.

I was hoping SOMEONE in the SunBelt would show up today and figured the Eagles had the best shot, but ... Losing four starters on the OL was obviously a huge loss. WVU's defensive line looked like they just shook hands with them and ran by.

GS also didn't have their starting qb.

But ask any southern fan, their back up is just as good if not better than the starter. GS, "the cream of the Sunbelt crop" got exposed against WVU, I hope we fare better against Clemson.

After reading some on the Georgia Southern fan forum last night, they were calling for the removal of their backup as early as the second quarter. I think they realized just how much of a disadvantage they were at.
More importantly though, is how poorly their offensive line played. That is something that is not a result of their starters being out of the game, but is instead a case of simply being outplayed. If they can't get their offensive line in order, they are going to be in for a very, very tough season no matter who the QB is behind them.
