Seriously?

Unread post by ASUTodd » Sat Sep 12, 2015 12:39 pm

What is Taylor Lamb doing? I knew Bobby Lamb had it in for us, but sending his son to throw interceptions as our quarterback? Effing brilliant..... go sit down, Lamb...

Lamb has thrown interception after interception. Hes lucky they dropped three or it would have been more. Hes obviously rattled or off his game. Put Carusso in and see what happens. Cant be any worse.

Lets take a trip back to the ECU game.... had we put Travaris Cadet in earlier, we would have won that game. Instead, we continued to play a qb that wasnt on his game. Its about adaptation. If you cant adapt and make changes, then you cant be expected to compete. I dont see one thing wrong with trying something different at this point in this game. Its 31 -0. Lamb, last I checked, was 5 of 17 for 55 yrds and 3 int.... not counting the three or four they shoulf have picked. He needs some time to reflect. Send Carusso in and see how it does. He does the samr or worse, put Lamb back in or your third string.

No way! Lamb is our guy, and he is young. Why would you take him out? Let him play and learn.

He's having A bad game but he's been under pressure and the Clemson D speed is excellent. No need to panic. Taylor will be fine. It points out that we still have some building to do. We are not ready for prime time.

No one said anything about panic, nor did anyone say that Lamb wasn't our guy...... i made a joke about Bobby Lamb and I said lets see what else we have in the wheelhouse. Lord have mercy, you guys are the ones that need to chill.

If you have to explain it, it's not a very good joke.

Sometimes keeping a player's confidence is much more important than 1 game. Remember Peyton Manning's first 4 NFL games he had 3 TD's and 11 Int's and fans were screaming for his replacement. Not saying Taylor is Peyton by no means, but you get the point. The average fan is not that much smarter than people who do this for a living.

Ill agree with that.... however, sometimes letting the guy sit a few series to see what everyone else is seeing can help to. Plus he can see what the backup is doing and how the defense reaponds.... all in real time and not some still pics and whathaveya. Im not saying Lamb sucks, by no means.... but sometimes you gotta look at it and make sure his confidence isnt totally crushed by leaving him in.

If his confidence is crushed by throwing 3 INTs then you don't want him on the field at all. QBs and playmakers need short term memories. Pulling him sends the wrong message. If it were a game of significance for the team then I would agree. We weren't' going to win and how do you know that the coaches didn't want to put Caruso in the game under those conditions.
