Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
And it seems that this write up in Yosef's cabin ain't being taken too kindly down south....A Quarter-Century Of Underachievement – The Clemson Story
BY THOMAS SHERRILL · SEPTEMBER 10, 2015
My friend thinks it even made local press...way to give a little locker room fodder to the opposing team...I'm the kinda guy that likes to talk softly and carry a big stick...not talk sh!t and upset the hen house. Oh well, the deed is done...go apps!

It's whatever... If players need fans comments to get hyped before a game they will have a long year. Go to Clemson's Yak and you will see worse I promise. I for one want there best shot. I know we have a good team, this game will tell us if we have a special team. ANYONE ANYWHERE ANYTIME

I read some tigernet spew tonight, guess they're pissed we use complete sentences to troll the opposing fanbase.
The race stuff wasn't necessary but the facts of underperforming it spot on and guess what beating App isn't going to change that.

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
So what did the article say that wasn't true? I thought it was a very clever tongue in cheek composition. I doubt any Clemson player will find enough motivation out of this to make a difference. They play with pride and malice and so do we.

He changed school, head coach and stadium names on right side of page.

No worry, App Fans have already fixed the page. They can't keep us down.... We are App State!

Hmmm. The complete sentence part may be a stretch. That piece was laborious to read.

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
I might be wrong which isn't unusual but personal opinion is fine but when written under Yosef's cabin, then it is more akin to a journalistic approach rather than one persons feeling about the opponent. But I'm not bent outta shape....carry on.

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
Race was a big reason why Clemson opened. It's an important part to the story.
I know some people don't like the roasts and that's fine. They're not for everyone. If you enjoy then, I'm flattered, if you hate them, don't read it.
Regardless, I believe App State will win this game. Why? Because I'm an App fan.

never like giving bulletin board material to the opposing teams, but, that's just me. As far as changing the Wikepedia page, man that's pretty weak, sad thing is, they actually are proud of themselves.

T-Dog does them for everyone we play, so Clemson shouldn't feel too special. At least he's got the knives pointed outward again.

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
One of my Clemson buddies sent an article from Tigernet that does this sort of thing for multiple games each week. What they wrote about App was just as bad as what TDog wrote about them. My buddy and I had a good laugh over both write ups which is the point of these things. Maybe some in Tigertown aee a little worried? Or just a case of out of control sports fans that seem to dominate radio and message boards these days.
When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
I don't blame TDog, or even the Clempson fans, themselves. I blame the USC grad, whose job it is to read to these folks. No telling what other insults and half-truths he ad-libbed in there. Thanks a bunch, cocky.

I for one am tired of Tdogs negative ramblings. The supplements article did it for me.
someone please put Tdog on a short leash.

I apologized for how the supplement article came across. That was a mistake.sixtoes9134 wrote:I for one am tired of Tdogs negative ramblings. The supplements article did it for me.

Most of what I write is positive. The roasts are meant as they are. I make fun of the school we're playing that week and if there's negative parts, that's life. You don't have to read it.

Taking jabs is always fun; but the constant negativity is what does it for me.
