Does anyone know where one could obtain a DVD of our Michigan win?

I might have a working copy. But I think I have a coy off the internet that I got from a torrent site some years ago. You might want to look there though hard to know if anyone would be seeding that 8 years later.NewApp wrote:Does anyone know where one could obtain a DVD of our Michigan win?
Surely copies are available from GoAppState or from the Bookstore. I'd be a buyer if they exist. I've had that on my to do list, but...alas...McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:I might have a working copy. I doubt we have rights to sell them. Big Ten Network (a Fox affiliate maybe) would own rights. We might be able to sell game film, but I doubt schools do that.asu66 wrote:Surely copies are available from GoAppState or from the Bookstore. I'd be a buyer if they exist. I thought that existed and could not find it. Glad you did.NoLongerLurking wrote:The complete game is on youtube if you're interested in streaming it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec9POE2eQdI

Thanks, Lurking. The youtube link worked for me. Now, I have another question. Is there a way I can copy this game on DVD from youtube?NoLongerLurking wrote:The complete game is on youtube if you're interested in streaming it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec9POE2eQdI
There are ways of downloading youtube videos. To get it to work on a DVD you would need to convert the file into something a DVD can use. It can be done but you need some software beyond what normally comes with a computer, but it can be found on the internet for free (or pay a good bit to pay for non-free software.) Google youtube online download and I bet you get hit with more than a few choices. There are also some Chrome and Firefox extensions that can download media but in the case of Chrome (owned by Google) they can't download from Youtube (owned by Google).NewApp wrote:Thanks, Lurking. Thanks, but I'm too computer illiterate to bother with additional software, etc. It's not that important as all I wanted it for was to show my 10 year old the game.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:There are ways of downloading youtube videos. You might want to Google "Download and make a DVD from Youtube" and see what comes up.
If you are still looking by this weekend send me a PM and I'll see what I can find when I have a bit more time to help.
He certainly will this weekend when he views it on YouTube. It's just better for all concerned on a wide screen TV.NoLongerLurking wrote:I hope your 10 year old enjoyed it.
Thanks for the advice, McL but I was hoping there was a less cumbersome method. Just once again displays my computer illiteracy.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:There are ways of downloading youtube videos.
