Awesome to be in the conversation. We need to be playing the teams on this list instead of Howard and we will make it to the top 10.

I just wanna steam roll the remainder of our schedule.

I believe the positives from the Clemson game and the learning opportunities from the negatives will provide a catalyst for a great run.

Any Access Bowl slot went up in smoke at Clemson.

The schedule this year is turning out to be not conductive at all to getting into an Access Bowl. Wyoming looks terrible. ODU is going to struggle to finish .500 in CUSA with WKU, Marshall and others,

The only hope is if Clemson steamrolls everyone, finishes No 1 prior to the playoffs, we finish 11-1 and other G5 teams like WKU, BYU and such have one or more loss.

Marshall's loss to Ohio will drop them down, and look for a big jump for other MAC teams to happen. Playing teams like Howard only allow the team to to play a LOT of players to get valuable game time. The trick to me is not playing FCS teams, but playing more Mid Major teams from the Group of Five. Wyoming is a great move, add home and home dates with teams from the MAC, CUSA, AAC, etc. Fans can travel and the fans from their teams will come into Boone and visit the Rock.

While it is true that we do have three relatively weak teams ahead, we also play three teams ahead of us in the access ranking s and another near the top. After this weekend, I think that our defense as the potential to dominate our remaining opponents, regardless of quality. Just win and win convincingly, let the chips fall where they may and hope that we don't get TCU'd.

The access bowl spot was always a pipe dream for this year. Hopefully everyone understood that. We're in year two of our move up - making any bowl would be better than the vast majority of programs have done at this stage.
