Our family is headed down next Saturday to the game. Am I better off buying tickets through ASU or the Georgia Dome? What section are the APP fans sitting? Any help is appreciated.

I believe the tickets are $10 each. I'm going to buy mine there and move to the App section. I can't see them having more than 12K there at the most.

If you wait you do run the risk on not getting tickets. Unlike us they have a strict indoor limit on the number of folks in the Dome. ;) ;)

I have yet to buy mine but this is the one that I knew would be no problem. I thought I remember looking early in the season and they were $20 for GA, at least through GSU. I did see this deal through Living Social the other day, two for $20. I'll probably wait for a Living Social promo code to come through this week and get them even cheaper. Pretty crazy when parking costs more for a few hours than the cost of attending a FBS game for 2 adults!

Purchased mine through App with my season tickets. $10 each. There is a seat and section number on the ticket but I can tell you that section does not exist in the Georgia Dome so they must be General Admission. Georgia State charges $10 for all their game tickets except for some reserved home seats. However they did charge $37 for Georgia Southern game last year. Safe travels and hope to see a lot of App fans there.

Me and my son might go down there since we live in the Atlanta suburbs. Tickets are $10 for General Admission so you can basically sit anywhere in the stadium except for the 50 yard line area on the home side which is $20 and reserved for "Scholarship Seating" (I think the other $10 goes to GSU athletics or something)

My plan is to go get a general admission ticket and just walk around the stadium seats until I see some black and gold and sit down with my people. :-D Hopefully we have a good showing.

I believe App has designated the "Yellow Lot" as the unofficial Dome parking and tailgate area for App. It cost $10 and is off Northside Drive next to the World Congress Center and a very short walk to the Dome. Lot of ATL Apps plan to be there.

Let's fill up that place with Black and Gold!

We'll have 3 from south Charlotte headed down. With all the alums we have in Charlotte, Greenville, and Atlanta we should be able to outnumber the GSU fans. Not saying we will be there is no reason for us not to have a strong showing.

Thanks for all the help. I went ahead and bought 4 through Ticketmaster. Cost $15 each, which is $5 more than at the Dome, but with two kids coming, it would be a long ride home if we were not able to get in for some reason. Other than the reserved $20 seats on the GS home side, everything is general admission. At Fanfest, I was talk to Coach SS. He said that we would have more fans at this game than GS. I hope he is right. See everyone there!

Anyone know of a good place to watch in Asheville? Will be there this weekend but would like to catch it out somewhere if possible!

Beef O'Brady's in Fletcher is pretty App Friendly, as is Hickory Tavern in Biltmore Park. The Asheville Alumni Chapter would always meet at Beef's, not sure if they still do but I think they do.

Easy trip from AvL to ATL! Drive down on Sat for the game! If you stay in AVL get to Wild Wing South location early and ask them to tune the game in.

2 here heading down from Hky on Friday afternoon. Thanks to SpeedKing (I believe) for letting us know that the "Yellow" lot has been designated as the de-facto ASU lot. I hadn't heard or read that yet, but good to know...so thanks SpeedKing. We'll be there ready to go Saturday afternoon. It'll be the only chance our Mountaineers will have to put our "stamp" on the Georgia Dome before she goes BOOM!

I should have the Lemon-Pepper Panther Paws on the grill shortly after 10am. Craft beers, Old Forrester Bourbon and Cuban and Dominican cigars optional.

If anyone wants to ride down from Asheville, I'm dying to go and will be more than happy to drive. I really don't want to go alone...
