Vegas line for Georgia State
Just checked the line for next Saturday's game in the dome. App opened as an 18 point favorite. Already up to 18.5.

Sounds about right. At least we won't have to worry about the weather for this one.

If our RBs can protect a dry ball as well as they protected a wet one, I think we'll cover. I'm sure we'll see better tackling after this weekend.

We are going to absolutely destroy them. I think we get our third shut out. Wish I could be there to laugh in Cobbs face, and celebrate with my fellow App Alum. And to enjoy Atlanta's night life.

No need to laugh in his face.... We are SO much better off now with Doug Gillin! Cobb did well with the building expansion, but Gillin will take us places the Cobster could not have.

Re: Vegas line for Georgia State
Get over Cobb crap. BTW, he told Satterfield and others to go get experience somewhere else and then apply for the next coach of APP State. Its working out pretty good now.
He wasn't perfect but he put us in the position we are in now, and most of what he did, he did with Peacock approval. Its called the fall guy, which he played well....lol
Let's just take care of business at Ga State.

I think we win big, but I don't think this is the week for a shutout. Georgia State is averaging better than 28 points per game. Expect them to make a few plays. Just not enough.

GSU
is going to sling it around so it will not surprise me if the get some points on the board.
I want to see us shut down their run and put heavy pressure on Buck and for several mistakes. I also want to see our D backs step up big and shut their receivers down. That is the big challenge for this week.

A win will put us atop the standings of the SBC tied with GASO.
The Aggies, Trojans and Warhawks are all sacrificial lambs again this week and the Texas State/ULL game is a non-factor (at the moment)
We just need to go in there and take care of business and get one more step closer to punching a ticket to the postseason.

Actually Southern is 2-0. And the Texas State-ULL winner will be tied with us at 1-0 if we win.hotrod2001 wrote:A win will put us atop the standings of the SBC tied with GASO.

Oh...yeah, duh.
Sorry, whining toddler distracted me.
I meant we and GASO would have the two best records in the conference overall.

Re: Vegas line for Georgia State
I expect GaSt to score some points but I hope and expect App to move the ball at will against their defense. App has to tackle better and DB's better be ready for a lot of action. GaSt has a pretty good QB and a couple of good WR's with their best one, Harden just returning from injury. Get after the QB and cover the deep routes and App should do fine. Cox and our RB's should have a lot of opportunities.

Re: Vegas line for Georgia State
Actually the play at 18 points is Georgia St. They can score points so you are asking the favorite to score on three to four more possessions than the underdog.
