Getting thumped by Charlotte at home in good weather.

17-9 is hardly getting thumped. There's a lot of game left to be played. They sure aren't very good though.

you could see this coming for ODU 2 years ago, all they had was a great qb, and a good receiving corp, no real development on the defensive side of the ball, no development on the OL and running backs. Now its all falling apart, defense is horrible, no running game, etc, just get the feeling their coach staff really aren't very good at developing players, makes you appreciate what we have, on their board they are trying to rationalize their problems by comparing their young team to what App went thru last year, even suggesting they will beat App in Boone next year, sorry folks, just don't see it.

Moehler summed it up correctly. ODU fans were enjoying a false sense of security with a decent QB. It hide all their other warts. Satt and Co. know what it takes to build a solid and complete team to compete at a much higher level than lower tier G5. Wilder had paint on a pig. The truth came out when we dominated them. ODU fans just assumed they were on the same level with App, actually they thought they were better than us due to our record comparison over the last few years. This was an eye opener for them and they still don't get it. It will take a few more butt whippins for reality to set in.

Can't go from zero to 60 overnight....Charlotte will get there quicker than ODU. But Charlotte fans will never materialize....

That's what I thought, too, rekdiver, but at the same time I would never have guessed that Jerry Richardson would have donated $10,000,000 for naming rights for their so called stadium.

ODU literally put in one of their WR at QB after their first series because Bentley was so bad. dude balled out and will probably be the QB for the rest of the year
