Someone needs to point out to the production crew who our head coach is, they keep thinking he's someone else.

We're so good in the sunbelt that we're the best two teams in the AAC...high praise indeed.

They're also using the old new logo (the face drawn into the mountain circa early 2000's) on one of their graphics.

The media guide specifically says that's NOT our logo. Of course, it also gives the correct pronunciation of "Appalachian".

Those guys were brutal!!!!!!!! The production value may well have been the worst I've seen in decades. Camera was all over graphics screwed up.... really bad

Very depressing. I have seen better TV crews working high school games. When you can't figure out who the head coach is until the second quarter there is only one thing worse. Not knowing what conference you are working. I'll be glad when we get a TV contract and not an internet contract.

As to better productions, I've seen better also, bcoach, but at least the announcers stayed on topic by talking about the game at hand.

What a crappy production. Camera work was horrible. The sound for the play-by-play guy was even worse.

It is what it is. From what I've seen, the only SBC team that seems to have a decent production staff is New Mexico State. Everyone else is probably made up of a bunch of free lancers from Charlotte, Atlanta and Birmingham making a few extra bucks while using a production truck that Georgia Tech used back in 1996. (True story on that for me)
My real dread is if we do get a move up to say, C-USA, we'd lose access to games streamed on ESPN3 and be forced to deal with that dreaded Sinclair Broadcast Group-led American Sports Network, who can't even figure out how to get games streamed online yet.
The production is atrocious, but at least I can watch it.

At least with our current deal every single game is available to stream. You're right. The Sinclair team is pretty bad too and their service area is terrible.

I watched a very little bit of the NM State game and it was low res and horrible. The App game was tons better and it was nice seeing a pretty good picture with no video buffering or latency. I thought well that's not coach Satterfield but at least Ivey looked like he meant business. And, they referred to the team as App State instead of Appy State, which kills me. We won't have to worry about it when we play Southern because it will unfold right in front of us!! Can't wait for 3 PM when the stadium lot opens!

Was it broadcast on The Aggie Sports Network? Or GASO's broadcast team? Because the game was in Statesboro so I'm assuming that was GASO's deal...which yeah, their broadcasts are a step above a VHS recorder from 1991 in terms of quality. NMSU home games on the other hand are fairly respectable. They have to be because nothing else with that program is, so you might a well look good while you're being destroyed. lol

Not really sure. I was watching it on ESPN Extra, which is a live broadcast on DIRECTV mirroring the ESPN3/WATCHESPN broadcast on their website. I'd like to scout GS on that game, if I could find the time, which I probably won't.
