Because this is such a HUGE game, we want to do something special for the preview show. GIVE US YOUR BEST GEORGIA SOUTHERN INSULTS!

This is, of course, all in good-natured, competitive fun. We're not calling out specific people (that would be tacky) and the App fans I know would never treat a Georgia Southern fan so rudely in Boone that they'd regret their decision to come to KBS. Regardless of how we've been treated in Statesboro or elsewhere by their fans, we - as a fan base - ARE better than that. So to be crystal clear: we can have fun making jabs in the proper context but we do not condone insulting individuals or making anyone feel uncomfortable or threatened.

We've already started this on Twitter and we've received some great feedback.

What we want to do is for YOU to come up with Georgia Southern Insults that we can read on the show and share a laugh with everyone! Now, if it's too inappropriate or has profanity, we will not read it (but we might still laugh!).

To give you an idea, here are some insults we've received (I won't take the time to give credit to the source of each post but this is from a combination of folks):

• In Statesboro, all stores close for a full hour when the Jerry Springer Show comes on.

  One-ply toilet paper comes from Georgia Southern pine trees.
  
  Luke Bryan went to GaSo... therefore GaSo is responsible for Bro Country. Thanks, GaSo.
  
  4 out of 5 georgia southern fans don't eat their daily recommended dosage of fiber.
  
  GaSo doesn't like Star Wars.

You can't make this stuff up. This picture is from the Georgia Gnat Company. They claim that their "Gnat Hat lets you use your hands for something other than swatting!" I don't even want to know what that might be. I'm sure it's the number one school accessory at the Stink.

Try crossing a pig with at GaSo cheerleader; won't happen. There's some things a pig just won't do.

This is a permanent exhibit at the Georgia Southern Museum which is pretty cool.

GS fans like this exhibit because it reminds them of a time with having a generic mascot like an eagle was not cliche and over done.
