No love lost for Ga.Southern

Unread post by PBR1893-BEER-HAT-GUY » Mon Oct 19, 2015 10:15 am

Ahhhh, the memories of such pleasant "fans" from down south still lingers. Why it seems like just yesterday when a nice young lady from Ga.So. exclaimed as she walked through our tailgate holding her huge eagle flag..."Bitch, we got six flags flyin' at our stadium!"
Oh the joy I took wondering aloud what she scored on her SAT verbal.
Or the other fine upstanding "fans" telling all within earshot that the eagles were going to destroy App... It was a beautiful fall day in Boone...and Ga So. was highly ranked if not actually, #1 at the time and I just told him, "that might be true....you guys might win" and then I opened my arms wide and pointed around saying, "but guess what? After the game, we get to live here in this beautiful place called Boone while y'all get to go back to that sh!thole called Statesboro!"
So my friends, bring everyone you can to this game...be polite to their "fans" but I can tell you there is no love lost for this team coming up the mountain Thursday. I haven't been this excited since the Wofford game at Halloween many years ago. If the moderators will forgive my language but...This sh!t's fixin' to get real!!!!!!!! #moreexcitedthanapig(gasouthernfan)insh!t

Also, to any folks with kids up here in Boone. Remember that school is closed for Watauga county on friday...so pack em up and get yourselves over to Kidd Brewer(Conrad) stadium!

Don't get me wrong I'm not a Georgia Southern fan but have been to every game in Statesboro since they joined the SoCon and have never had a problem. In fact last year I thought we might miss the kick off because of all the tailgaters offering us drinks on the way in. Maybe I've just been lucky
