North Dakota State is hands down the best team so far in my opinion based on how they've handled there schedule. Montana State, not sure why they captured any #1 votes?

We'll probably be in a shootout with Sammy this week, but I think we win with our skill players being the difference. Also, as I see the season unfold, we got our asses handed to us by The Citadel, but that was their game of the decade. They have been getting their butts whipped since they played us.

We keep plugging we will be OK - just all these teams have to play other multiple top 25 teams - winners and losers - gotta keep plugging - A WIN IS A WIN ---

WV, what was the difference in the Elon team that played APP and Woffart? I thought their QB was pretty good, but hampered by an inept coach and we out talented them over a full game.

Well I know more about Elon than Wofford - I did see the 1st half of their game at Elon 2 weeks ago - my take ---
Elon has an outstanding passing attack - possibly one of the best in the nation - Mellette is the best receiver I have seen (multiple times) in a long time and that includes Quick (I know Quick was hampered by the dearly departed dumazzes) - Coach Moore said last year and this year that Wilson is the best QB we play (Logan Thomas was of course) and their other receivers are very athletic - It's the same ol - same ol with Elon just like the Riddle years - THEY CAN'T BEAT YOU RUNNING THE BALL - Just think if they had had a KRich type RB the last 6 years ---
Wofford to me is simple - STOP BREITENSTEIN = BEAT WOFFORD - Wofford (unlike GSU) doesn't rely on their QB to beat you - he can if not taken seriously but they didn't seem to have near the speed that a GSU team has and as always we must be wary of their misdirections, reverses and trick plays --- Wofford scored on both their first 2 offensive plays and it became like us and Cit -

Getting pressure on Wilson really helped us, Mellette could have had 300 yds on us. He is polished and smooth for sure. One of our plays of the game was when Blalock knocked down a pass to Mellette later in the game. That was a game preserver. I'm still shaking my head at them going for the 2 field goals, when we never really stopped them. Had they go scored TDs in those instances, different game complexion. I thought we had the mo going into the second half.

Or, our traditional/annual "one we should have won but lost" game.
