bowl rankings
What are the bottom, say, 10 bowls as far as general quality of teams represented? It is easy to name the top tier bowls but I am curious what folks would deem to be the bottom feeders. With that in mind I wonder where the 5-7 teams will end up. God I hope we don't get one of those schools as an opponent. An article on ESPN said that there are only three teams remaining who have a chance at 6 wins. Of course two of them are South Alabama and GA State- doubtful that either gets the upset win. With that in mind I wonder what bowls will pick up these teams? You have to think that some of these schools will take a financial beating due to the cost of sending a team and representatives to a bowl and having to eat the bonuses to be paid to the coaching staffs for reaching a bowl. Read the Missouri was passing- smart move.

Re: bowl rankings
OK, have replied to this a few times, but one more time for the record: We're not going to play a 5-7 team in our bowl.
- GoDaddy and Montgomery both draw from the MAC, which has more eligible teams than tie-ins (all of them 7-5 or better). Long story short: Both of those bowls will feature MAC teams with winning records.
- Cure will be an eligible AAC team, likely either 6-6 Tulsa or 6-6 UConn.
- New Orleans Bowl theoretically could be an at-large team, as CUSA doesn't have enough teams to fill their spots. But why would 8-4 La. Tech pass on this one? Plus, long shot App winds up here anyway.
