Yosef Club Membershps
How many of you have friends you possibly tailgate with who cheer on the Mountaineers for every home game, yet do not contribute to the Yosef Club? I woke up yesterday morning and thought about this so I decided to e-mail my friends who fell into this category. Of the seven I contacted about joining the YC, three of them replied saying they would join. I want to believe they joined because they realized the importance of having a vested interest in ASU Athletics especially with us now being in the SBC. I also want to believe they joined because a friend asked them to consider it. I did this task solely on my own because I care for the success of ALL our teams. I was not asked by the Yosef Club to contact these friends. I strongly believe all of you come in contact with similar type people on Game Day. I challenge each of you to simply ask your friends to consider joining the YC today. I realize there are many ASU grads who have no interest in ASU Athletics and I respect that, but I am talking about the people who trek up the mountain for each home game. These folks DO have an interest in our programs. Maybe, they haven't joined because they simply have not been asked.

This is precisely what is needed! Friends respond to friends. I can, as a Yosef Club Advisory Board member, call hundreds of people without the success each of you would have in asking three or four friends to join / renew / increase their giving.
Always remember that the amount of the donation is nowhere close to as important as each individual donation. The more members we have, the more attractive we are to those corporate donors / sponsors that can be a real boost.
Of course, if any of you know someone who wants to donate huge sums of money, it's perfectly fine to ask them to do so for Yosef!
Thanks to all you Yosef members! I can't imagine better company to keep!

The YC should have people riding around in the gator going to each tailgate area and asking people to sign up. They could have a raffle announced at half time for the "new YC member" of the game.
Also - to win the "tailgate of the game" the # of YC memberships should be factored in.
