I politely corrected one of their beat writers on Twitter the other day with the whole Appy State thing. He apologized and promised to use App the rest of the time. I cannot stand Appy. It drives me crazy.

I want Satt to whisper to him, "that's what Bobcats mean to me....nothing absolutely nothing".

The only Bobcats that matter are the Lees-McRae Bobcats, my other almamater (associates degree in business). Wish they would get their football program back.

I think Ohio fans can relate more than you might imagine to people not calling us the correct name. I think most Bobcat fans would agree with me in saying that #1 on the list of things that annoys our fanbase is when people call us "Ohio U." Our name is "Ohio." We had a major lawsuit in the 90's with Ohio State over them trying to steal our name.

The hsitory is that Marshall, who used to be our biggest rival, used Appy as a derogative term.

And I had no idea Ohio U. bothered you guys. Thanks for that heads up.

Did I hear their coach correctly? He mentions preparing against our triple option that we run? Like the academies run? Huh? I need to go back and look at our games. That sounds like an excellent thing for his coordinators to implement over the next week. A triple option defense.

I hope they spend all their time trying to defend the triple option.
