Friday Night Bowl Events
So many Camellia Bowl threads, but I don't think anyone's spoken to what the dance card looks like for Friday night. I spoke with the YC office today and was told nothing finalized as far as club events. Anybody know what they are looking at putting on? If not, is there a bar/restaurant that stands out as the spot to be along with 7-10K of my closest black and gold friends?

For these events, really looking like the blind choice of the Hampton Inn paid off. Right across the street from the App bar! It seems I've still got a little booze hound left in me from college after all.

We blindly booked right beside Dreamland BBQ so I'm happy about that.MtnMan09 wrote:For these events, really looking like the blind choice of the Hampton Inn paid off. Right across the street from the App bar! It seems I've still got a little booze hound left in me from college after all.

The Hampton is prime location, within a block of the Aviator, Dreamland and a very promising dive bar named The Alley Bar. I am somewhat of a dive bar connoisseur, places like The Fat Pelican in Carolina Beach are among my favorites. There's nothing quite like being a 6'4" preppy middle aged white guy stepping up to a true dive bar and ordering a beer.
