Congrats on the historic season finishing 11-2
First 11 win team in Sun Belt History
First team to ever win 11 games in it's first eligible year transitioning to the FBS
Taylor lamb breaking Armanti Edward's single season TD record
Zach Matics...This final game symbolized his entire career. Struggles early, clutch late.
too many other accolades to list here

What a game...what a season...

And we have MMB'ers questioning his abilities to be our starting QB. Geez.

In pregame warmups, my wife and I noticed that Matics tried to kick the ball and fell flat on his back on two occasions. Not sure if he hurt himself or if the turf was slick and he was timid.

Matics should never have to buy a beer in Boone for the rest of his life.

Interesting you observed this. I was thinking to myself during the game our players were having trouble with the turf. Watching on TV it appeared our cleats were getting "snagged". All 3 of the non-contact injuries - especially Cox's potentially were the result of this.

I believe that is the largest comeback since UTC in September 2010.

Way to go Class of 2015.....you fought like a mountaineer through the toughest years a football team can compete.

You all deserve to be in the record books for your efforts.

Thank you for ALL the entertainment you gave me during your 4-5 years at APP.

On the bus on the way home. Hoarse and too excited to sleep. Never prouder to be a mountaineer. These guys deserve all the credit in the world. They could have easily quit, but they didn't. Lamb showed the heart of a champion and played the last series barely able to lift his arms. Zack could have wilted, but delivered in the clutch. Our band, cheerleaders, administration, and especially our fans were incredible. Unbelievable!!!

It was a blast. Lots of thoughts on the game and the season, but those will have to wait for another day when I have slept. Good night all!

It was a blast and I think it's time to take my old a$$ to bed and reflect on this tomorrow. Thanks to all who never gave up tonight. I think ESPN mentioned on SC that it had been 10 years since a team had come back from 17 down to win a bowl game.
