Still smiling on a Monday....

Unread post by WXAPP » Mon Dec 21, 2015 1:44 pm

I don't know about the rest of you all, but I am still smiling from ear to ear on this Monday. Sitting here in the weather office with a big grin and still thinking... WOW.. what a hell of a game. Continued congrats to ALL of the team, coaches and support staff, and our fans, for what was just one heck of a good year and awesome game at KBS "New" West in Montgomery!

Damn proud TO BE A MOUNTAINEER!

Ditto... I've got to talk starting at 5 PM tonight... lots of hot tea and lemon... this will be interesting... Happy to be "hoarse" because of, and for, my Mountaineers!

I had to lead services at two churches a couple of hours after getting home from Montgomery. I barely had enough voice left to preach and sing!!

I just finished watching the game again off my DVR. I really just wanted to see shots of the stands, and hear the commentators and I got caught up in the 4th quarter just like I was watching it for the first time. I was jumping off the couch and causing my dog to jump around and bark at me (she feeds off my energy). What a great feeling seeing that kick sail through and watching the field level shots of Zach running toward midfield.

My throat is still soar today, and I think I may have made it a bit worse.

Getting ready to do the same. Got some chicken legs grilling and a couple cold beers.

For all the voiceless-ginger!! Reeds crystallized ginger has helped me get some of it back. I was squeaking pretty bad yeasterday, LoL

I think I worked as hard in the stands as they did on the field.

The trip to Montgomery and the Camellia Bowl are the best Christmas gifts my wife and I ever gave each other. What a great weekend. Thanks Montgomery for throwing one helluva party!
