"Things kept going south for the Mountaineers in the second half, as Ohio linebacker Jovon Johnson just flat out took the ball from Appalachian State quarterback Taylor Lamb for a touchdown"

Re: Too Many Bowls?
Kind of an odd place for the "too many bowls" line, given that this game was 10-2 vs. 8-4. There was also a 6-6 vs. 5-7 game Saturday.

Re: Too Many Bowls?
There are too many bowls and the 6-6 vs. 5-7 is what proves it. At 10 -2 we merely prove that we belong in one. If we are ever 5-7 I would hope we would decline.

Re: Too Many Bowls?
I took as this is a new bowl in only the second year for conferences that previously did not have enough tie-ins. I did not see anything negative here (other than the Lamb getting stripped error). I mean even at 10-2 we would not have made a bowl in the days when they numbered in the 20's.

Re: Too Many Bowls?
If we are being critical about the accuracy of the article, the first fumble was unforced (as opposed to article stating it was a forced). I don't want to take anything away from Ohio but that was an early Christmas gift.
