TPoEE: A Beautiful Near-Disaster and Wishbones

Unread post by T-Dog » Mon Oct 15, 2012 11:09 am

Looking back at the near-catastrophe, taking away the positives and some negatives and then looking ahead to the show down with the Terriers, plus a rant on Samford's announcing crew.

Nice work Tdog! Wonder if anyone has sent that picture to the Samford announce crew? They cried the entire Mississippi River on Saturday.

Think a ton of people on twitter tagged the SamfordSports on that photo, they are probably tired of seeing it by now.

Oh speaking of, anyone have any luck getting the Samford Sports video for the 1st half to work? Watched the 2nd half yesterday, but the 1st just won't play for me on multiple computers.

Yeah I had the same problem yesterday with the 1st half not playing. I'd say it's their problem.

Their announcers also cried about being screwed in Statesboro on one play. They lost 35-16. How does one play determine a game you lost by 19?

Sullivan was much more gracious in his comments. He said they could have converted other oppurtunities and such.

What amazes me just as much as the TD drive is the defense coming up huge on 2nd and 1 and 3rd and 1. If Samford gets that one yard, they win the game.

Yep, probably 15 of us right after the wedding ceremony walk up to the reception with phones trying to watch all the updates on espn app, etc. Started keeping up with it as we were holding them on 2nd and 3rd down.
