I had some free time tonight, so I decided to mockup what I think App State's football team would look sharp in going into next season. I'm not usually one for a lot of black, but I have always felt that our team looked the best in black and gold versus white and black. In this, I also brought back the fan-favorite white "Block A" rather than the black "Block A" that is currently being used on our uniforms. In addition to that, I switched out new/Victory Yosef with Nike's "Who's in?" Yosef. I felt that, with the white "Block A" and this Yosef, it was the perfect combination of modern and tradition. I also replaced "Appalachian State" that is currently on our uniforms to just "AppState" to better represent our school's current branding efforts.



What key elements do you like on our uniforms? What would you like to see the Mountaineers decked out in as we gear up to host ODU, Wake Forest, and Miami?

Love the wide piping on the pants. I think we are getting new jerseys in both the white and black. Do you know if that's true?

While I like the black/gold combo, all black should still be the primary combo, to the extent that such a thing exists.

I also think it's time we accept that the black block A isn't going away any time soon.

I do like the APPSTATE on the jersey, and the Yosef head on the hip. I believe the "Who's In?" graphics were an ESPN creation rather than Nike, though, weren't they?

I really like the ESPN Yosef symbol, wonder how much they want for the rights to it?

I'm a big fan of the all black, even with the black block A that we use currently.
As long as we never go full yellow on top and bottom again, I think I'll be fine with most of what our guys wear on the field.

Stay away from all gold. I'm also not a fan of the Yosef helmet. Just stick with the block A. All black is best.

Count me as a fan of the all gold as an alternate. Seemed like the players liked them too.

I like what we did for the Troy game. Yellow on top and black on bottom.

Me as well, and yes the players did too.

Here's what I came up with. All black seemed to be a big request, so I went ahead and made that happen. I also added another alternate helmet with the black "Block A". I went ahead and left the alternate pants the same, but changed the piping on the last pair from gray to gold.

I'm not seeing the image. Just shows the word, "image."

I liked the all GOLD, especially the shoes.

Whether we wear Black, White, Yellow or what is the Alternative in color of the game. IMHO all I want is for the players is they Today I Give My All To Appalachian.

For one game, I'd like to REAL gold helmets with the new Mountaineer logo in black. That would be sweet along with REAL gold pants.
