Here is a link to the Tennessee highlight video someone made about the 2015 season, it is nice but not up to the quality that we have from the guys in the marketing department at App. I look forward to playing them.

An initial observation is that clearly they can catch passes when wide open. I saw a lot of plays where the receivers did not have any defender even close enough to contest the pass. Also saw Vols players running and fending off defenders that were making very poor tackling techniques. Any good runner/ball carrier would have run through those situations.

In fairness not all of the plays were as I listed above but a considerable amount of the plays displayed in the highlight reel reflected those situations. In other words this reel didn't show me that the Vols were making great plays so much but rather that the defenders were playing poor defense.

I don't want to be tainted in my assessment so what are other folks seeing in these highlights.

I really wish we could incorporate that dark gray and to some of our uniforms. Perhaps a dark gray stripe down the side. Or it would be cool if we had black uniforms with dark gray letters and a yellow stripe to out line the number.

When the receivers were wide open I am seeing they were good enough to get wide open.

They look pretty good to me. Gonna be a tough place to play, but what an environment.

Could we hope for a night game or a late afternoon kickoff?

I see a lot of orange! Man I hate that orange same clamson! I sure like black and gold.
