I'm not sure if there was much we could've done about some of them. A couple of years of misses on recruits, last year's off-field problems, the committee, injuries prior and during the season...we just don't have enough team remaining.
Sometimes, you have to play the hand you're dealt, and right now our hold cards are a two of diamonds and a seven of clubs.
However, there are some things we do have control over, and it's the STUPID celebration penalties. We score, and because of a brain fart, we give them the ball on the 50. You can't give a team like this a short field, the more yards they have to gain the better chance of a screw up...
We sure could use an off week. But we're not going to have one -- even with the Can'ts next on the schedule. It will be their Super Bowl, and they'll be ready.

Wasn't able to make it to the game. Did Jerry Moore absolutely come unglued on the player that did the celebration? Did he make an example for the rest of the team with a hardline, immediate show of discipline? That is a tongue in check question. He obviously has never disciplined any of these guys that have made these selfish, idiotic gestures. This team needs some serious manly leadership. It's obvious that they haven't gotten that for quite some time and that starts at the top.
