I hope you have season tickets.
I just browsed the secondary market to see for how much our hot-item game is going. Cheapest ones I can find are...wait for it...$259 each..

Oh happy day!
Buy season tickets.

That's awesome! Or you can splurge and spend $901 for 2 tickets in section 101

Those prices will drop. If someone can't afford season tickets why would they pay the price of multiple season tickets for one game? Especially when that game is now televised.

Has anyone actually paid any of those prices, or are those just people fishing to see what they can get months before the game?

That price is only because tickets haven't came out through the ticket office and that's what people are just throwing out. Of course I encourage everyone to buy season tickets but with general admission and what not most will be able to get a ticket for face value.

One could sell their Miami game tickets and make enough to pay for season tickets.

I can't imagine anyone would pay that for a ticket. If someone will I have one for them.

I don't know if there's anything short of six figures that could part me from my tickets to the Miami game.

My sister became engaged in earlier in the year. I told her I would be at her wedding no matter what with one exception: September 17th.
I wouldn't feel GOOD about skipping my own sister's wedding for a football game but I would do it nonetheless. (She's not getting married on September 17th FYI )

I had Falcons season tickets many years ago. When Deion Sanders left to go to the 49ers, that first time he came back to play against the home team was highly anticipated. Add to that the fact that the two teams were in the same division at the time and both were coming into the game 4-0 which was normal for SF at the time but unheard of for ATL. The town was going nuts. Scalpers were getting rich. I don't remember the exact amount of money I could have sold my two tickets for but I remember that had I sold them, the rest of the season would have worked out to be free and then some. But I was just as excited for the game as everybody else so I held on to them.
The results were memorable, all right. The falcons were down 28-0 before the first quarter was over. Deion returned an INT for a TD to rub it in. I could almost see my dollar bills sprouting wings and flying away.
Hopefully that won't be the case here, because even though I told myself then that I would never let an opportunity like that pass again, there's no way I won't be in my seat for that game.

The moral of that story is always take the cash when it comes to the Falcons.

Anybody who pays $900 for a pair of App Tickets that doesn't have a National Championship Game logo printed somewhere on it should be slapped.
