As always, it's a great time to be part of the Yosef Club. For me, this is about far more than a football ticket. It's about supporting 450+ athletes with an average GPA over 3.0 playing 20 different sports wearing the Appalachian Block A. Be Yosef!Season-ticket sales remain brisk as excitement continues to build for Appalachian State’s historic 2016 home schedule, In addition to 11 sections being sold out, a total of 16 of The Rock’s 27 non-student sections are at 85-percent capacity or above.
In appreciation of the generosity and loyalty of season-ticket holder and Yosef Club members, those individuals will be given the first opportunity to purchase single-game tickets beginning on Monday, July 25 at 9 a.m. (subject to availability). More information on timing and ordering procedures will be sent to eligible individuals in early July. Season-ticket and Yosef Club accounts must be in good standing in order to participate in the single-game tickets pre-sale.
Should any single-game tickets remain following the pre-sale, they will be made available to the general public on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 9 a.m. Based on current projections and the unprecedented enthusiasm for Appalachian State’s home contest versus five-time national champion Miami (Fla.), it is expected that reserved seats for the Sept. 17 showdown with the Hurricanes will not be available when single-game tickets go on sale to the general public on Aug. 2.
Therefore, fans that wish to reserve seats for the much-anticipated six-game home schedule, which is comprised entirely of NCAA Division I FBS opponents and Saturday dates, should purchase season tickets and/or become a member of the Yosef Club today!
2016 Appalachian State football season tickets are available online by clicking HERE, by phone at (828) 262-2079and in person at the Appalachian State athletics ticket office, located at the Holmes Center.
Fans can also still enjoy the perks that come with being a Yosef Club member by joining for the 2016 membership year, which runs through Dec. 31, 2016. Yosef Club membership comes with access to exclusive seating and parking for Appalachian State football (at certain membership levels). Additionally, Yosef Club members at the $100 annual and above will be eligible to participate in July’s single-game tickets pre-sale.
To join the Yosef Club today, click HERE or call the Yosef Club office at (828) 262-3108

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
So season ticket holders and Yosef club members, or either one individually? I'm reading it as either one allows you to buy tickets prior to general public sales.

Yes indeed. Got mine yesterday. Great time to be a Mountaineer! It's not just about one game, it's about stepping up just like the team, coaches, and students have. Let's pack the Rock all season long!

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
Just spoke to someone at the Yosef Club office to ask the question I've had ever since the first announcement went out...How many tickets per Yosef Club member? Her answer, which is not finalized is 2-4 tickets depending on donation level. I asked if that would include GA sections, to which she replied with "Let me give you the ticket office's number". She did advise that they would likely tell me the same thing so I didn't call them. A little more information, but I guess we will have to wait for the finalized number. She also mentioned that the way season tickets are this year, you would have had to join Yosef to get season tickets. Is this true? Anyone know the current number of Yosef Club members for 2016?
My last question...Is it possible to get a Yosef Club donation under my business name and my personal name?

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
I believe the answer is "yes" as I know I've packed tickets for businesses before. what would be the goal of having a separate Yosef membership for the business? Extra parking spot? Option of buying additional tickets to premier games? Whatever the goal, I encourage you to give Alan Daniel a call to be sure you're on the right track./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: My last question...Is it possible to get a Yosef Club donation under my business name and my personal name?

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
I want to have an opportunity to buy more tickets for the Miami game to be honest. I doubt I will buy extra season tickets, just a different way of donating. Having the Yosef Club donation seems to give you top priority for those tickets, without even needing season tickets. Is that correct?DaphneUrquhart wrote:I believe the answer is "yes" as I know I've packed tickets for businesses before. what would be the goal of having a separate Yosef membership for the business? It's also good to give more for the student athletes

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
Season ticket holders should be able to buy the same amount of single game for Miami as they have season seats. So for me 5 = 5 extra for Miami.

I agree that is what it should be. Is that your opinion or is it confirmed? Thanks.Appersrule wrote:Season ticket holders should be able to buy the same amount of single game for Miami as they have season seats. So for me 5 = 5 extra for Miami.

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
2-4 tickets based off donation level. That's from the horse's mouth, with an * on the actual amount of tickets. It will be based off donation level, and even talks rolling it out in tier format based off donation level. Meaning the more you donate the sooner you can order your tickets. Then the next level the next day and so on.TheMoody1 wrote:I agree that is what it should be. Is that your opinion or is it confirmed? Re: Single Game Ticket Update
I would buy as many as 9, will be happy with 1, and thrilled with 6. Rest assured, anyone who ends up with extras will not have any issues finding a buyer!

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
Just got permission to go, so I'll be in search for some, haven't been able to make many games the last 2-3 years so haven't been doing season tickets. Probably will only make Miami if I can find tickets, and homecoming this year.

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
We were told by ticket office that you were allowed 4 extra tickets per season ticket holder. Four for Tennessee and four Miami etc...my interpretation was it did not matter if you had ten season tickets you still only got four.

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
One thing that is not settled is the amount of tickets that will be allotted, last I heard (Called last Thursday). The ticket office dude told me they received more than expected requests from Miami (Understandable considering they have fans all over the country). He also said that Gillan wants to pack the house, but not to the point where people feel as though they're being extra crowded. So those unrealistic predictions of 40k some on here have projected likely won't happen unless additional seating is added. IMO, they should find ways to add additional seats, just for this game. If that's even possible. Tired of waiting....I want tickets in my hand NOW!mountaineerman wrote:We were told by ticket office that you were allowed 4 extra tickets per season ticket holder. Re: Single Game Ticket Update
Was with a friend of mine at our local watering hole last week (he's a huge Miami Fan/grew up there). He asked about single game tickets for the big game and indicated he had seen prices on the secondary market that were fairly high. I convinced him (Miami Fan) to buy 2 season tickets and join Yosef at the $100 level which if the prices he is seeing is real, saves him money. He was ecstatic! Good news, his sister went to App so she will be the benefactor of the remaining game day tickets. I also told him I would provide the beverages to drown his sorrows away after the game!

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
This is what happened with Wake a few years ago when they played ND. The ND fans bought a ton of season tickets then sold the other 5 games on the secondary market. This sucked for Wake as visiting teams fans bought the secondary market tickets so visiting and wake fans were all mixed throughout the stadium. (Not that I see our other visiting fans bringing that many up here as ACC teams did to Winston.Budman2154 wrote:Was with a friend of mine at our local watering hole last week (he's a huge Miami Fan/grew up there).
