Anyone tailgated in the Greenwood lot? If so, what were your experiences?

Times I've been through there... Seems like a good time being had...

Greenwood is a great place to tailgate ... particularly if there are little kids around. Our son graduated in 2009. He and his crew tailgate up there rather than coming down to the stadium lot. There's a little more "elbow room" and less through traffic than in a lot like Raley. Of course, there are a few steps between the lot and the stadium ...

Thanks for the info... I think we are going to ride up Thursday and check it out. Anything for an excuse to take a trip to Gods Country!!

I did exactly the same thing when I got my first Stadium Lot pass. I drove up, parked in "my" space, and sat in the car staring at the beauty that is KBS. Of course, KBS looked a little different then ... still beautiful.

The wife and I park in Greenwood and love it. It's not a big party area, but still an awesome place to tailgate if you like a more laid back atmosphere. Getting to Kidd Brewer is an easy walk. After the game those steps are a killer for us old folks.

Most of the tailgating is in the upper part of the lot nearer the entrance. I hope my new knee makes all those steps easier this year.

I would be interested in hearing your thoughts after you check it out. I'm also in Greenwood and don't really know what to expect.

When we were in greenwood we enjoyed it. Wife's knees couldn't take the climb back up anymore so we moved back to rivers st. deck.

Doesn't the Appalcart run up there?

Yes they did have a shuttle that picked you up at the entrance to the lot. Our spot was in the lower end very near the steps.

The first picture is how much room you have back behind your parking spot... A couple of feet at most and it is on a slight incline. Hope this helps!!
