Jug stays in Boone!!!!
Jug stays in Boone!!!!
Could have been a blow out but hard to not let up with a big lead and not wanting to embarass the other teams coaches. WCU will turn around so not surprised they didn't quit. Way to go Hallock!!! At least we know we have a back up QB when Jackson goes out. Hell of a game by Miller too!!! Way to pass 1,000 yards!!! Go get em against GSU!!! Win out. Go APPS!!!

We just need to move on. No one will be expecting us to win next week so there's no pressure.

Hallock and Miller are very bright spots in yesterday's game. For three quarters, the D plays lights out. Yes, it's hard to not let up when it appears to be "in the bag" but as DJ pointed out from the booth....we need to learn how to FINISH.
That being said, Matthews (the WCU QB) is the real deal and he will cause problems down the road. If they put some support around him (OL) the WCU offense will be dangerous. Speir has done a great job at WCU so far although it hasn't shown up in the W/L column just yet.
