A triple option team? It certainly seemed like it Thursday night. Very heavy on the runs, lots of pitches and misdirections. Is this the direction we want to go, or was this a result of getting pressured too much by the Vol's defense?

It was the game plan against a team with a great secondary and edge rushers.

To me it looked moreso like the spread option we ran with AE. Over the last # of years I have tended to think we had strayed from that. Perhaps a personnel thing.

We have used some TO plays for a couple years now, but we've done it from the shotgun or pistol. GS and even Wofford have also mixed it in. Got to use multiple looks these days with the athletes people are putting on D.
