Small chance for isolated storm after 2 pm' ish. Don't know that I fully feel the "Stormy Love".. but, there you are. Lower 80s for most of the game.

I suspect, like many of you all, it has taken until today for us to catch our collective breath from what was one hell of a game last week. I can not fully express the pride I (we all) feel for the extraordinary effort by our Mountaineers! Having said that, it's time to focus on the task at hand; getting a win! I've been around football long enough to know, you never underestimate your current opponent; ask Tennessee. What's done is done, time to move on...

On the weather side of life, as of this day (Tuesday), Saturday looks APPSTANDING! Game time temps in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Partly cloudy skies, passing chance for a shower later (not much in that camp). I don't think we can ask for better football weather in the High Country given the lousy weather for so many games last year. So, buy some tickets, pack up the family, and go enjoy what should be a spectacular day to be among the Mountaineer throngs! Hell the much loved, and dearly missed, black end-zones have returned!

I'm just as excited for great weather as the next guy, but I'm hoping for a real Boone whiteout for a late season game.

Hope it rains. We slaughtered them in the rain in Norfolk last year. Just kidding. We can whip em no matter the weather.

Yep. The best baked goods taste better for the extra time spent. I may try to make some for the Miami game since it's a noon kickoff. Make 'em Friday night (won't be able to sleep anyway) and warm 'em up for Saturday breakfast.

I need to get yall my mom's recipe for apple dumplings. Great on a cool early morning tailgate. Just have to make them the night before and warm on the grill the next morning. Good compliment to apple pie shine or blueberry beer in the morning, but you didn't hear that from me.

Yep. Just be grateful it isn't silver metallic out or Aluminium Foilout. That would have been real bad.

An already APPTASTIC forecast just got better... ROCK-SOLID now! Should be a great day to tailgate and take in the first home game of the season. One of THE BEST college game day experiences in the country!
