This new article from Bleacher Report's Adam Kramer is all-in-all a pretty decent piece but I'm beyond tired of seeing App as the "cover boy" for stories such as this, thanks to the now what-feels-like-ages-ago Michigan win. The photo accompanying the piece on CNN (Bleacher Report is their sports partner) is from our game against UT and the header photo within the actual article is of course from Michigan. Don't get me wrong...I never tire of relieving that day, after all it remains my all-time favorite live sporting event attended. I'm just hoping that eventually, before too long, we can start winning the UT type games with enough frequency that we escape, or at least skirt by, being featured in pieces such as these. I'd much prefer to move into the realm of coverage from pieces documenting the sustained success of mid-major world beaters like Boise or now Houston, though the Cougars days as a mid-major are probably numbered.
