Injuries

Unread post by WVAppsfan » Mon Sep 12, 2016 9:36 am

I just read the Charlotte Observer article about the game and read the status updates for players, are there any serious injuries the team might be facing this week?

They mentioned Cox with an ankle, we know Steve Burns had a neck issue in the second half Saturday and...... ?

I hope others may know

Took a picture with Cox on the field after the game. He was out there quite a while as was his family. Not like I'm in the know or anything but if all that meant anything he was fine. Noticed him getting some extra tape at one point in the second half but he came back in. Looked like Meadors took a bad fall on a sideline pass and went off. Hope he is ok. Thought I saw Ike Lewis in shorts. What's his status?

Cox and Burns both said after the game that they were fine, that they were held out mainly as precautions, and that they'll be good to go for Miami.

Now, keep in mind our staff's track record with injury info - they aren't exactly forthcoming. Can't really trust much until you see who runs out of the tunnel on Saturday.

Saw Cox back in after the ankle roll, so wasn't too concerned. When it first happened they thought high ankle sprain.
