Another stupid poll. We won fairly convincingly yet we are not as good as last week? Ok then

I think it was the way we performed...lot of players were at the Ale House Saturday night and they acknowledged they played poorly and as hard as they and the coaches tried, everyone was looking towards the Miami game.

Even my wife said it was boring and she has no knowledge of the team other than what I subject her to. Lol

We came out pretty focused, but getting a big lead so quickly killed that. Hard to expect the guys not to look ahead at that point.

And it afforded the opportunity to rest some guys who were a little banged up and to give playing time to others --- To me, it was about the best thing to happen - get an early lead and coast - I never felt the ODU game was in any doubt - boring second half? - Yes - but I'll take that with what is coming this week ---

And I'll state this again - It wasn't too long ago we were trying TO ESCAPE THE BOTTOM 10 ---

I wonder what it was like for ODU to know we were on cruise control all while having to listen to promotions for next weeks game? That has to hurt your pride a bit.

I was honestly surprised how early in the game those promos started. The players hear that the same as the fans and I believe that could've been a point at which the Apps started to lose focus. Regardless, you held a team to 7 points in a home and home series, time to get that started with Miami.
