Ok, folks. We've begged for it. Now the athletic department is making the effort to respond to our cries for better sound and better video in KBS. The GoFightWin Campaign only lasts for another 4 days 19 hours and counting.

Here's where my personal request comes in:
If I've ever given you a free ticket to a game or fed you at a tailgate, would you please consider making a donation of some amount to the Go Fight Win Campaign.
If you've ever said to yourself, "who is this old grandma that keeps posting on Yosef's Cabin?", would you please make a donation of some amount to the Go Fight Win Campaign.
If I've ever made you mad or made you think or made you laugh ....
Ok, you get the idea.

No single drop of water can cause a flood. The same goes for donations. I seriously doubt any of us could fund the sound system solo. All of us, however, can make this happen.

I have benefited from a free ticket from you, even though I ending up sitting in the wrong area. I still had great seats so no complaints. I also got a bit of your tailgate for that game. I'll be taking you up on the giving to this campaign in return.

Someone also gave me tickets the last time we played Elon at Elon. I sent some money in to YC back then, but will do so again in honor of that gesture from a few years ago.

I still don't have tickets to the game but that is my own personal struggle until I find some before game time.

I like the idea of a new board, but I'm fuzzy on the details, what's the goal? Perhaps there's more information when I view on my desktop, page not supported on iPad.

The "official" campaign appears to be for this week only. They're capitalizing on all the excitement generated by having a P5 team visiting Boone and combining that excitement with the very real need for improvements in the sound / video system.

Based on the kind of "thin air" numbers I've heard through the years, I'd guess we need to raise a million plus for a decent board. Of course, that may be well under the real cost.

The bottom line for me is that I'd like to see a new system in KBS. I've given what I can to the Go Fight Win Campaign. In the scope of the campaign, my donation is small. Who knows, maybe it's the drop of rain that starts the flood. If everyone does something, then no one has to do everything.
