It's hard to simulate late inning game pressure in practice/scrimmages. Unfortunately a pitcher/team has to be in that fire to gain the experience which hopefully makes them better.

Some pitchers thrive on the pressure and get better. Others can't handle it. Gotta let the fire refine you not burn you.

Due to the wild pitches you are left playing percentage-baseball. Tough loss, particularly to the pitcher. Have to shake it off and be ready the next time. Like what I see so far. No errors today. Lot to build on.

Baseball is a great game but probably includes more second guessing than any other sport. Walks and errors are killer. Wild pitches like today at this level should not happen. Hopefully the team can keep building on this weekend.

In the main, this 2-4 team could easily be at least 4-2 against some pretty good competition. Not scoring a lot of runs but starting pitching has been outstanding. Do need to shore up the pen. Despite the record, promising start.

Our RPI is currently 94th out of 294 Division I teams. Our schedule thus far plays a big part of that, but it’s amazing how quickly things have improved. Two years ago we were in the 200s.

I'm really excited for next Tuesday at the Knight's Stadium uptown. Weather looks to be 50's. MUCH warmer than last year against NCCU.

I know the football schedule came out today and all but we are playing Western right now.

Up 10-2, Top of the 6th.

With the team starting the season on a 7 game road trip against these teams sitting at 3-4 isn’t bad at all.
