I don’t see us celebrating a top six finish in any other sport. Ok maybe other than golf ….
Queens record is 6-35 :?
And just lost 25-0 to Winthrop…

Good news is the pitching held up. Gotta steal 1 this weekend. Maybe CC comes in over confident.

If we win at least one this weekend and win both remaining series (maybe sneak a sweep of one), we should be comfortable for SBC tournament time

For the SBC tournament, we really need to be in winners bracket given our lack of pitching...

Yea maybe. The saving grace is that while CC pitching gives up about 1 less run a game better than USM pitching (great), they don’t hit as well either… about .20 less on team ba and we have about 19 more extra base hits then they do.. course you have to make contact to get extra base hits.

Our team BA dropped from .304 before USM to .287 now. We are now getting outhit by opponents. Crazy what a 6 game losing swing can do in the wrong direction.

Licht, while hitting .430 was not sustainable is down to .364 (still impressive) but that dropped fast in about 2 weeks.

4-3 on the night. The I-35 Rivalry lived up to the hype but the Bobcats fall to the Roadrunners. Our ranked teams all looked good. Could we have two Regional host this year?!?
