I doubt this team will win many games 2-1.

If they can score about 10 runs every game, they could have a winning Sun Belt record with final scores like 11-8, 13-11, etc

Buckle up.
You could have said the same thing about the Gamecocks….until yesterday.

The nerves. Bases juiced for A&T 7-7 2 out Bottom 9. Lewis comes on to pitch. Steensma got 2 outs then 3 walks.

HUGE game v ETSU coming up. Small rivalry and could mean if we Win that then we come home 8-0 to face the Running Bulldogs for our first home series.

Clutch hitting today, have to dial in the walks and erratic pitching a little. It’s still early but man, what a start!

ETSU just broke a 3 game losing streak with a 10-2 win over Ga Southern today.

You better be in Johnson City to
get a W! Need the boys to come back to The Beav 8-0 for opening weekend!

It seems to work at a distance so I will follow live stats as I did today. I wish I could be there!

If not for the level of competition played, every fan would be mentioning how pitching has been a weakness so far. We’ve been able to hide it with hitting so far, but Campbell and WVU won’t be so kind, along with the SBC. I’m hoping we can iron some things out on the mound between now and then.

Which gives you a greater pause when we start SB play, our hitting or pitching?

Fridays we can compete. Saturdays and Sundays will be uphill battles. We all know we have to score a lot those days, but, we might have the lineup to do so.
