Why do you feel USM got shafted? They’re hosting a regional. I know Troy’s HC is pissed. Go listen to his post presser after their loss in tournament. He thought they were in for sure.

They don’t lose to ODU in Montgomery and I believe they are in.

OK, so someone educate me on baseball S&C programs. I’m familiar with football S&C from having played. How does baseball S&C differ from football/basketball programs? Do they focus more on flexibility and strength than stamina? What about rehab? Thanks!
We lifted heavy in the offseason a ton, sometimes with the football team. A few of our kids were pound for pound strongest on campus (cleans/squats/deadlift). During season we scaled back but still lifted, just not as heavy. Running, Cardio, flexibility stuff. I believe Mike and Robbie were our strength guys, both were excellent but we had Robbie for a few years. Early to Mid 2010s. We shared both of them with Football and then maybe Robbie had field hockey as well.

Looks like Robbie Ormsby is back with App State. I have no clue what the baseball S&C program looks like now- too far removed.

Nothing like it! Summer is here. Playoff baseball.

Can’t pull for CoastaL though. But, if SBC were to win Omaha does the conference get paid out? If so, that Would have been nice if Coastal was in the SBC when they won it.

In football and basketball, the conference payout is high enough to pull for all conference teams. I doubt it's high enough in baseball to pull for Coastal :D

I want both Belt teams to make the CWS. Hell, nothing would make me happier (under the given circumstances) than for both to play for the championship.

I snuck down to MB for a golf tourney tomorrow and snagged some tickets through a buddy for tonight. I'm actually excited to see what it is like.

Cincinnati being from a northern climate, shouldn’t be this good.

Be interesting to why Wright State coach took out pitcher with no hitter and only 76 pitches. Had No. 1 Vandy on the ropes
The relief did not provide relief...

I didn’t even know NDSU had a baseball program. Thought they only had football. They hung with Arkansas thru 7. A lot of cold weather/northern teams hanging in there. Utah Valley, Northeastern, Murray State. I’m sure it’ll all shake out, but a good showing from the Yankees so far.
