Not App related but what a wild scene in Gainesville last night between Stetson and FU.

I need to go rewatch that. I saw the fuss about it. Do you have the link for that story/video?
Is that a conference related decision or the home schools decision to use a 2nd bag?
I haven’t seen us play with a 2nd bag yet, or maybe we have.

Runner was called out for touching the white part of the first base bag.

Now that stinks. Clearly beat the throw, but I guess didnt touch the orange second bag.
Trained your whole life to hit the white bag, and now they want you to hit the orange one. That’s tough and I’m sure won’t be the last time it happens on a bang bang play, even though this wasn’t even bang bang.

Watch someone hit a home run and touch the wrong bag and it get called back…

Those are my sentiments as well. I’m all for safety, but are first base collisions so frequent that you have to do this?

I doubt the FU Coach says anything if it wasn’t for the tying run scored.

More resources for baseball? Great idea. Unfortunately, the budget is going to get tighter with “ revenue sharing “.

I have to wonder if the minimum number of sports required to compete in D1 will drop in the near future. Perhaps the minimum number of scholarships provided instead since NIL/Rev Sharing is becoming the focus. The P4 are about to shell out $20M per year which isn't going to be easy for many of them to adjust to.

That was as routine as it gets. I know there is wind but he was standing still and it bounced right out of the glove. Cross picks him up though!

Cross pitches out of trouble after the dropped pop up in center to lead off the inning. GW helped us out by not taking second on the error and a puzzling sacrifice bunt with one out.
