Looks like we pulled it out 10-9, scoring two in the bottom of the ninth after allowing Davidson to score six and take a lead in the top of the inning. A win is a win is a win. Way to go!

Pretty obvious what we need to improve, the bullpen especially mid week guys. At the end of the day/season a win is a win. Nobody will go back and worry about how it got done.

Agree. Our short relief is atrocious. To their credit though, they do pitch themselves out of some pretty tight jams sometimes. Granted, they do create those jams.

I’m curious how our pitching coach’s work/impact/success compares to other pitching coaches in the SunBelt or in NC.

No ESPN+ for baseball this weekend. I think live stats and twitter will be our only way to follow along. I saw a tweet from Bret Strelow explaining that App only has 1 broadcast camera crew. There are two odd weekends this season when both softball and baseball are at home, and the crew can only be at one of them. One weekend the baseball team gets the broadcast, one weekend the softball team gets the broadcast. This weekend is the softball team's turn.

This is also softball's last home weekend (Sr Day) while baseball still has the Troy series to come.
