Wake Forest

Unread post by MAD Doctor » Tue Mar 28, 2017 7:28 am

Wake is in town today and is on a roll. On Monday they were ranked in several publications and is just outside the Top 25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Let's "wake" our bats and knock them out of the Beav today at 5.

Last check Wake is #13 in RPI. This game can go a long way to rebound us from this past weekend.

May be getting a bit ahead of myself, but we are about halfway through the season. Ideally we need to be top 60 RPI for a potential Regional at-large bid.

RPI does not mean anything if we don't start winning. We could have a number one RPR ranking and a losing record. Probably need to win at least two thirds of our conference games.

Definitely getting ahead of ourselves. Last year we were 18-36, 9-21 in conference. Right now we are 10-14, 1-5 in conference. We have a long ways to go. Right now we need consistent bats, we need to be able to get middle inning relief, and be able to close a game. I think we are improved, but hardly at the level to be thinking post season. Sun Belt is a good baseball conference.

3-2 Apps through 5. Long balls are flying. Leonard parked one in the grave yard of center field.

I have been listening through the iPhone app all evening. Also just pulled up AppStTV from the website on my tablet.

The question now become should you move Brill back in the lineup everyday and try and get one of your arms in the pen to step up.
