When you think it can't get any worse they prove you wrong. Another overall abysmal performance by the Apps today as they were taken behind the woodshed at Troy. Final 1 - 9

Our Diamond Apps were the #2 Top Play on SPORTSCENTER this morning. Continuing to build for the future and making me proud of what I see on the field, from the dug out and in the community.

Speaking of the future, I'm looking forward to seeing what Coach Smith produces from his recruiting efforts. That is (as someone else posted awhile back), looking forward to seeing what he does with his recruits as opposed to players he didn't recruit. As the ol saying goes, you can only "squeeze so much blood from a turnip", I guess. In the mean time, here's hoping for better results.

Here's a crazy stat. App Baseball is currently undefeated in road Sun Belt Saturday games. Won at ULL, Little Rock x2, GaSo and barring a disaster, Troy.
However, the team is also winless in road Sun Belt Friday Sunday games at 0-7.

Considering the bare cupboard left by Billy, its a wonder they have been as successful as they have. Interested to see how Kermit recruits going forward.
