Dugout Club

Letter and good looking brochure has been sent out by baseball/Dugout Club. More levels added this year. May pay by check or credit card and spread out payments. I got to talk to Coach Jones the other day and I think we are on our way to the next level, but we need funds to do all of it.He has a deal with Rawlings where our players get a lot of free stuff like all the big time programs. Gloves, bats, batting gloves, dri-fits, 2 pair of sneakers and other things. Now if recruits are asked by recruits from other schools what do you get from ASU, we will match up. We are getting 4 new uniforms and 3 different hats(Block A and Yosef, no Gortons). Coach gave me permission to help this little bit and put out info to both boards. I hope we can get 300-500 members in the Dugout Club. If you want to get the info sent to you email Coach Jones at
joneswm1@appstate.edu. Lets see how many members we can get before the season starts.

I think this is good but just curious what the Yosef club thinks about this? Does this reduce baseball funding from Yosef

They refuse to put a "Join the Yosef Club" banner on the outfield wall.

This does not take away from any other funding. Don't know about advertising deal on fence, but I'm not sure it has been talked about. Would Yosef not be the ones to do this? Yosef only does schollys.

The banner is in reference to what I guess was the last "argument" we had on the old board about the Yosef Club banner in the end zone. Too good to pass up.

I would like to join the Dugout Club, but have not joined in the past. So, I haven't received anything. Should I just email Coach at the address listed, or is there another way to get the brochure and sign up?

New hats and 4th jersey have not arrived yet, thus the old hats still being worn by the players.

Would like to see the Black top with White pants. Going to look good with the old Yosef on the hats.

Sounds good. I was worried about the new hats since they announced the discontinuation of Vintage Yosef last week.
I'm guesing the 4th uniforms will be gold. I liked the idea of wearing black, gold and white in that order in a three-game home series.

Dugout Club has slowed down. Last heard, a few weeks ago, about $15,000. Everyone join up for the highest level you can afford. You can do it monthly. Going to the banquet Sat, night. Will see what I can find out as the latest info. At NCSU in one week.

I sent Jones an email last Thursday about donating, as we'll as getting Charlotte Alumni to do the same, and I've yet to receive a response. I would like to donate to the $200 level, but I need a little feedback.
