Re: 2018 Baseball
I don't think Kermit is getting enough credit for how difficult this job is going to be. He was honestly left in worse shape than Fox.
Baseball recruiting is done 2 years in advance and the roster he inherited had multiple guys leave early for the draft and his best pitcher leave for UNCW.
I am very impressed with how he has done so far and the progress that is being made.

I am excited about App baseball and not just at the expense of not being excited about App basketball. I think that Kermit will end up being a "home run" hire.

I don't want to split hairs but I think Fox inherited a worse situation. IMO Kermit is THE guy and he definitely inherited a problem. That said, Kermit inherited a culture problem mixed with a talent problem. Fox had culture, talent, and GRADES! Correct ARJ! Both were undesirable situations.APPARJ wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 3:46 pmI don't want to split hairs but I think Fox inherited a worse situation. Re: 2018 Baseball
Actually, his first team had decent talent and produced his best conference finish to date. Granted, his first class lacked talent due to bringing in folks who could cure the APR issues.

The ball beat him to the plate. Great slide to avoid the tag. Unfortunately, the Ump didn’t see it that way.

Surprising some here haven’t criticized his lack of hustle.
Yes, it was a joke.

Re: 2018 Baseball
Entertaining game tonight , to say the least. A six unearned run inning off of zero hits. But a win to end the season, over the top team in the league.Ill take it.

Hats off to Senior Luke Watts. He gave it all again today. Loss may cost Coastal a host spot in the sub regionals.

I've been in Maryland now for some time. How longs? When it comes to entertaining the crowd, two word, Rick Dempsey!
