Reed Howell has come in in relief and is getting hit pretty hard. He's given up a 2 run HR, a single, and a ground rule double.

I realize it's only the first game, however, it APPears the bullpen has picked up where it left off last season. Then again, it's only game one.

Given we have 18 new players on the roster and it's game one of the season against the team that won the SoCon and went to the NCAA Regional last year I'm not going to throw in the towel just yet. I plan on giving them at least 3-4 games before deciding that we're done and calling for KS's job.

SARCASM!!! (in case anyone missed it)

It's a long season and game 1 doesn't define it. It was disappointing though to see the bullpen implode. But baseball is clearly one of those sports in which tomorrow is a different day.

The veteran (non new players) bullpen aside, the new players in fact did well. Just calling it the way it is, "it is what it is", sorry if that offends some. Please don't shoot the messenger.

Not offended. Honestly don't care one bit. I was making a joke based on past history with people on this board. I will choose my evaluation time of this team on my own and others can choose to do whatever they want to. And I don't have to give a flying flip what they think and they don't have to give two s#%&s what I think. That's what makes this country great. ;)

I'm confident we will improve throughout the season , not without setbacks, but steady improvement . It's year two , those are my expectations.
