Huge extra inning win at Ga State today. 4-3 final. A win tomorrow gives us a chance at the conference tournament.

A win tomorrow is imperative. No way around it.

And even with that win, it's looking more like we'll need at least one win vs Coastal next weekend. The Chants can wrap up the regular season title on Sunday, I believe.

It's not only Georgia State we have to finish a head of, we've got to clear StAte as well. And, we trail them by a full game. They finish at home v. Little Rock.

The team is playing their best ball of the year now. They’re getting enough hits and extra base hits, better pitching and better fielding. This leads to more wins. I said before this series that if the 6 more conference games left, they needed four at least three to have a shot. Keep playing boys! I agree with whoever said this earlier, it does remind me of the 2014 football season, particularly if we win a couple more games.

The hitting I think has taken the pressure off of the pitching and defense. It's really difficult when you have that feeling that you cannot score much.

I would love to sneak into the Tournament. The experience would pay off considerably in the future. Next season expectations should be much higher.

Yea our closer.... who is really pretty good struggled today. In baseball, that’s going to happen. Fielding errors late in the game almost always hurt you. Also he gave a double and a single afterward. With just a one run lead.... spells trouble. However, let’s be clear, when you leave 8 guys on base.... that was the real problem. Without, more hitting, you almost have to be perfect.

We could sweep Sun Belt Champs Coastal next weekend and it might not be good enough depending on results elsewhere.

A series win is a must. But I don't see it unless Coastal gets lost on the New River.
