Saving pitching for conference games?

Are we the only team that does this?

I certainly don't have any answers. It does appear that our Mid-week pitching is significantly weaker than our weekend pitching. This does hurt. Missed opportunity.

Hopefully the mid-week pitching isn't an indicator of what the future holds.

I'm sure that building depth in the pitching game is a priority, but that's probably always true. I'd say we definitely need it.

Was posted on 247 that whatever we do midweek is a predictor of our first weekend game.

I hope we can break that trend. I'd love to pick up at least one win against UTA. Maybe we can pull a huge upset and win the series. These mid-week games are frustrating though.

UTA Game 1 first pitch tonight at 6.

Game 1 rescheduled to today, double header starting at noon.

Just a game and a half out of first in the east. Great job by all.

Tuthill just had one of the best pitching performances in App Baseball history.

Complete game shutout, 4 hits allows, 0 walks, 0 HBP's, 0 wild pitches, 8 strikeouts and all on 94 pitches all versus first-place UT Arlington. And he was at 63 (sixty three) pitches after seven innings.

WataugaMan has it right. I left the game thinking the same thing; Jekyll/Hyde. The guys looked sharp today.

Anyone else having an issue with extremely low volume for today's game?

App gets the sweep against a very good UTA team. I didn't see this one coming, but I'll definitely take it! Go Apps!
