11 am?? I guess they put that on the schedule so Siena can get away from Boone earlier and head back to wherever they're located.

Siena should definitely be two more wins to pad our record a bit....but I hope we show up and execute to make sure! I would HATE to be the team they broke that string on.

Don't forget we should also pick up that NC A&T win. We were leading 6-2 with the bases loaded in the 9th when the game was postponed. Game resumes ahead of our March 17th game vs A&T at home.

Absolutely! I haven't forgotten. I am very hopeful that the Diamond Apps enter conference play with a ton of momentum, confidence and a nice surplus in the "W" column!

I think I read where it was Elementary School Day ---

Tried to let Siena back in it. Mountaineers make it 5 in a row and get their first home win of the season 7-5.

9-6 overall, next game tomorrow 3/11 11am vs Siena. Game is listed as "Field Trip Central". Like the previous poster said, must be hosting a lot of elementary schools.

I'm not liking this. We should be dominating Siena and we're letting them hang around. Just walked the potential go-ahead run with no outs. On the heels of a 4 run inning (by Siena) in the 8th, this isn't good.

EDIT: Well, the bases weren't loaded. Runners on 2nd and 3rd. But a walk or a single WOULD have loaded the bases. Either way, nice win!
