Yes. Incredible meltdown.Inexcusable.

Baseball is Baseball - unless it is lack of hustle or some other personal trait of the player/s it is all excusable - It happens in baseball, check some of the major league games and scores - There is very little a coach can do to make the game end - With a lead, he can't run the ball up the middle and punt - burning the clock --- he can't milk the 30 second clock to leave the opponent less time to make a comeback - he can't move the ball around the field and then backwards or kick it out bounds to keep the clock running -
They have to keep pitching the ball and take what comes, missed balls/strikes from the ump, a shank that drops inside the foul line, a 60 foot infield hit on a perfect pitch, a bad hop on a potential game ending double play --- I could go on but I think you guys understand.
I did not see this game so I can't refer to any specifics.

DHs, particularly high scoring DHs, are going to expose our lack of depth on the backend of the bullpen.

Apps come from 5-0 deficit to win 9-5 in 11 innings. Left a ton of runners on in scoring position the entire game. Held Lipscomb scoreless after the 3rd or 4th inning retiring 12 in a row at one point. Let's get #2 on Saturday!!

We scored our 9 runs over multiple innings not all in the top of the 9th with our opponent ahead 6 runs.
