Big series in Boone this weekend against the Eagles. Need to get 2 at least to them to keep moving up in the standings.

Nunn gets them 1-2-3 in the 1st.

Crespo singles, Davis triples to score him, and Calloway get the Sac Fly to bring in Davis.

2-0 good guys after 1. Jaylin Davis RBI triple and Callaway sac fly (does he still lead the nation in these?). This is about as important of a series as you can get this early in the conference slate. Would love a sweep but I'll take a series win. Either won't be easy. GSU is a very good squad.

Just checked on the sac flies. With that last one, Callaway moves into a tie for 4th in the nation with 6.

Eagles get 4 in the 3rd.

If Dobson just takes the sure out at 1st we keep them to 2 runs.

Big double play to start the 6th! Head made a good play to start it

Head made a bullet of a throw from 3rd to get the final out. 8-4 still going to bottom of the 6th

There were a couple of good infield plays in that half inning. Head had a great 5-3 for the final out of the top of the sixth.

Dobson got picked off at 2nd though
