Was just looking at some records in Sun Belt. Most teams have played 2-4 more games than us. Would be nice to make up those UNCA/Winthrop games but I doubt we will. Just hope for no more cancellations. Getting to that 30 win mark would look great.

Need a W today! I noticed our RPI dropped 14 spots after the 1st loss yesterday. Then bumped up 10 spots after the 2nd game W.

I need more Steensma. 10 Ks through 6 innings. Probably done for the day. We need to move him to the Friday starter spot so he'll be lined up for the 1st game of the Sun Belt tournament. 7-1 bottom of the 6th

Give him a batter. If he gets an out leave him in. If not, go to the pen.

Not sure who he reminds me of... I'll go with Roger Clemens. Not saying he is that good..but who he reminds me of. The area around the mound is his. I feel like if Coach Smith told him to blow back a hitter for whatever reason....he would do it without hesitation. That is what I want on the mound.
Seems to be able to put his fastball all over the strike zone. Only one bad pitch right down the middle and belt high. Dudes a gamer if he continues to pitch like this. He is really our 1st day starter .. pitching day 2.
Can only dream if we had Hamilton on Friday and this young man in Saturday...

His command and demeanor is top level. Xander Steensma and Wilson would be some hosses! Brooks and Lewis out of the pen-whew. We’re always 1 or 2 arms away from being able to consistently compete at the top of the Belt. Kind of remind me of the Rockies, playing at an elevated park, weather stinks first month of year, offense can rake, just need to find the arms.

Troy isn’t liking ball/strike calls. Strikes IMO. Then a strike em out throw em out/batters interference and Troy coaches are screaming. Troy 3rd base coach just got tossed. Time to bust this open!
